Rallye 550 is Best Buy in WHICH? 2007

Uniroyal, the rain tyre, is rated as a ‘Best Buy Recommendation’ after scoring highly in the leading consumer magazine tyre test. The Uniroyal Rallye 550 took 4 stars consistently throughout the test and no other tyre scored higher marks in the important safety aspects of wet grip on both straight and bendy roads and wet braking.

The test assessed tyres in the UK’s top selling size 205/55 R16V which is fitted to popular cars such as the Ford Focus, Honda Civic and VW Golf as well as larger cars such as the Mercedes C Class and Jaguar X Type.

The Uniroyal Rallye 550 took on 14 other brands to take an excellent 65% overall score. The testers at Which? said; "The Uniroyal Rallye 550 is a consistent four-star performer for grip. It's quiet but won't last as long as the best in this test."

The Uniroyal Rallye 550 has a double V tread pattern which provides optimum water dispersion giving it high level resistance to aquaplaning. An advanced silica compound and a large number of tread pattern grooves mean the tyre provides an improved level of wet grip.
