Tip 1: Choose the right tyres. "A wet road surface can be dangerous. Which means you need a tyre that provides optimal performance in wet conditions. Uniroyal provides excellent protection from aquaplaning on wet roads, in corners and on standing water." Tip 2: Use your head when braking. "Rain increases the risk of having a road accident. You need to think more about braking, especially in cars without ABS. If your wheels lock up on a wet road surface, quickly release the brake and correct the steering." Tip 3: Keep your distance. "Distances from other vehicles that may be safe during dry conditions no longer apply when it rains. On wet roads, maintain a larger distance so that you are not endangering yourself and others unnecessarily." Tip 4: Beware of aquaplaning. "Water can become an unpredictable enemy both on straight roads and in corners. Only one thing can help: use Uniroyal rain tyres for protection against aquaplaning." Tip 5: Watch out for fallen leaves. "You should exercise particular caution in poor weather when the roads are covered in wet leaves. A romantic, tree-lined road can quickly become treacherously slippery. Only a good quality rain tyre will prevent you from skidding in dangerous situations." |
